Position Title: Police Officer (Entry-Level & Lateral)

Entry-Level Process

Frontline National Test for Law Enforcement
Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA)

Application Process
Application Submission: Complete the online application and submit a resume.
Physical Fitness Testing: Once your application is complete, a Physician's Release Form is required before taking the fitness test.
NTN Testing: Schedule and complete the Frontline National Test and PSSA through the National Testing Network.

Interview Process: Qualified candidates will be scheduled for an interview with the Human Resources Director and Police Department staff.
Background Check: Selected candidates will proceed to the background phase, which includes a polygraph examination.
Conditional Offer Process: Includes a psychological assessment, post-offer polygraph, Ohio Police Pension physical, and drug screening.
Final Offer: Extended upon successful completion of all assessments.
Job Requirements
Age: Must be 21 by the time of hire
US Citizenship: Required
High School Diploma/GED: Required
Ohio Driver's License: Valid license required
Vision: 20/20 correctable
Disqualifications: Felony or violent crime convictions
Salary
Hourly Wage: $33.19 - $43.57 based on education and experience
