Job Description
Salary: $208,761 - 306,183 per year Requirements:
- We require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field; or equivalent work experience. You should have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience. Extensive experience with React Native, including rendering components with Native APIs, is essential. Proficiency in writing cross-platform compatible code along with strong programming and analytical skills, and knowledge of design patterns is expected. You should be proficient in Java, TypeScript, or other languages such as Kotlin, Golang, or Swift. Experience in a lead role overseeing the technical direction of a team across multiple software systems is crucial. We expect expert knowledge of software engineering best practices, and significant experience building complex software products. A strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures is important, alongside extensive experience in data modeling, design, and messaging.
Responsibilities: - In this role, you will lead the strategy and cross-platform development (iOS, Android, and Web) and craft the vision and architecture for delivering personalized data-driven experiences across all channels like voice, chat, and mobile. You will provide thought leadership and build software solutions that deliver high impact business value and delight our customers. Your duties will include leading the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical direction, and driving technical innovation. You will also be responsible for defining, developing, and promoting software engineering best practices, conducting impact analyses for changes across multiple applications/systems, and debugging critical production issues across multiple systems. Participation in continuous learning and mentoring team members will be key components of your role.
