Job Title: Project Manager - Structural Steel
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our structural steel team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex steel construction projects, from inception to completion. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of structural steel projects, ensuring successful execution from bid to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with estimators, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure all safety, compliance, and industry regulations are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project performance and resolve any issues or challenges that arise, ensuring continuous progress.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all team members and stakeholders.
- Manage project change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in managing structural steel construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, and industry best practices.
- Excellent understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and cost control practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Experience with large-scale projects in data centers, e-commerce facilities, electric vehicle plants, battery plants, semiconductor plants, or steel mills.
- Familiarity with Tekla EPM software
