Gateway Sourcing is helping an established software company hire a Software Developer with knowledge in database design, Django, Python, PostGres and/or MS SQL Server. This is a small but well established company. The company experienced 30% growth this past year and due to their professional relationships and niche product offering anticipate continued growth. This is a mostly ONSITE position preferred in the Birmingham, AL area.
This position is available due to the retirement of a senior developer after a very successful career with this company.
Responsibilities :
· Design, develop, and implement software applications using various programming languages and tools to help create software products.
· Coordinate with our support team to test new features and bug fixes
Requirements :
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role
· Proficiency in Django, Python and MS SQL Server
· Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
· Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location : Birmingham, AL. Highly prefers onsite but may consider remote for less compensation.
