Salary: $18 - 20 per hour + none

We are looking for a reliable Quality Control Technician for our 2nd Shift. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest safety and quality standards during our peak evening production hours. You will work closely with the production team to ensure every batch meets the strict specifications our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

• In-Process Monitoring: Perform hourly checks on production lines to ensure product consistency (Brix, pH, and viscosity).

• Sanitation Verification: Perform pre-operational inspections and ATP swabbing to verify that equipment is sanitized and ready for the shift.

• Compliance: Enforce HACCP, SQF, and GMP protocols on the floor.

• Testing: Inspect raw fruit arrivals and finished goods for defects or deviations from USDA standards.

• Problem Solving: Identify quality "red flags" and work with the Production Supervisor to put product on hold or adjust processes when necessary.

• Reporting: Complete end-of-shift quality reports to ensure a smooth hand-off to the morning team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of QC experience in food/beverage manufacturing or a laboratory setting.

• Schedule: Must be able to work the second shift consistently and be open to overtime/weekends during peak seasons.

• Technical Skills: * Ability to use refractometers, pH meters, and scales.

  • Proficient in documentation and basic data entry.

• Communication: English skills are required. (English/Spanish) is a significant plus for communicating with the production staff.

• Physical: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment that can be wet or temperature-controlled.
