Job Description

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Receiving Clerk/Reach Truck Operator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate receiving of inbound shipments. The ideal candidate will have prior receiving experience, be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating a reach truck. This position requires strong coordination skills to support the unloading process and work alongside General Laborers in sorting and systemic receiving tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments and trailer deliveries
• Assist with checking in trailers and ensuring proper documentation
• Perform systemic receipts using warehouse software or inventory systems
• Coordinate with General Laborers for efficient unloading and sorting of goods
• Maintain accurate records of received items and report discrepancies
• Operate a reach truck to move materials and organize stock in appropriate storage areas
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of warehouse receiving experience required
• Experience operating a reach truck (Reach Truck Certification preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be reliable and punctual

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
• Requires standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods
• Use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
