Shift: 12 HR Days | 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical unit on a permanent basis. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires clinical expertise, critical thinking, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in patients' condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-hospital care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Serve as a mentor and support for less experienced staff and nursing students.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) .
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri or an active compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting is required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
