Registered Nurse (RN) – Adolescent & Pediatric Psychiatric Units

12-Hour Shifts | Day, Evening & Night Positions Available
Competitive Pay | Short-Term Contract

ACI Federal is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Adolescent & Pediatric Psychiatric inpatient units . This is a short-term contract role, ideal for experienced psychiatric nurses looking to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: March 28, 2025
• End Date: July 30, 2025
• Facility
  • Level I Trauma Center
  • Certified Burn Center
  • Accredited Stroke & Chest Pain Center
  • Specialized ICUs & Med/Surg Units
  • Pediatric & Adult ORs
  • Two Heli-Pads

Available Shifts (12-Hour Shifts)

• 5 Day Shift RNs
• 2 Evening Shift RNs (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
• 2 Night Shift RNs

Qualifications

✅ Active New York State RN License (Required)
✅ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Must obtain recertification if needed)
✅ Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
✅ Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (Preferred)
✅ Travel nurses must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers

Skills & Requirements

✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
✔ No prior license or certification suspensions or investigations
✔ No prior involvement in professional liability claims
✔ Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
✔ Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments with minimal orientation and supervision
• Provide safe and effective patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Perform a wide range of patient care skills at an acute care level
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient record-keeping
