Now hiring a qualified RN / Registered Nurses with Detox, Mental Health, Corrections or related nursing experience in Portland, OR!

RN / Registered Nurse Pay:

• $63/hour working 24 hours weekly
• Local and Travel pay packages available
• Weekly Direct Deposit.
• Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
• Plus, a travel bonus to the assignment

Schedule and Timeline:

• This is a part time position; working 24 hours weekly
• 13 week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
• Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.
• 24 hours per week with the potential to pick up OT.
• 12 hour night shifts.

RN / Registered Nurse Job Details:

• Provide healthcare services to inmates.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
• Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
• Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.

RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• 2+ years of RN experience; Correctional, Psychiatric, Detox/Substance Abuse and related nursing experience preferred
• OR RN License Required
• Active BLS.
• Clean background check upon hire.
