Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business, Public Health, or a related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, or revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry
- Proven familiarity with reimbursement codes (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10) and payer policies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends
- Experience with reimbursement analytics tools and revenue cycle management (RCM) systems
- Excellent communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement and reporting
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting products through pre-commercial to commercial launch in biotech or startup settings
- Knowledge of third-party HUBs, hospital systems, and patient support programs
- Familiarity with claims data analysis and payer adjudication processes
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of healthcare experience, particularly within startups or early-stage companies
- Demonstrated success in reimbursement or revenue cycle roles supporting innovative healthcare products
Other Requirements:
- Onsite presence in Chicago, IL (5 days per week)
- Ability to stay updated on payer coverage changes, CMS guidelines, and coding updates
- Capability to utilize data visualization tools like Excel and Tableau
