Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri 40 hours a week
Qualification :
Education : ASN / BSN
License : RN (Any State Acrive)
Certifications : BLS, CPR, ACLS, PALS
Experience : 3 years of nursing experience with minimum of twelve months (12) outptient/ER experience
Responsibilities :
Administrative Supervision: The nurse works under the guidance of the Supervisory Clinical Nurse at Tsaile Health Center.
Direct Patient Care: Responsibilities include patient examinations, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, and referrals when necessary.
Outpatient Clinic Management: Conducts clinics, reviews patient history, medications, and adherence to treatment plans, modifying regimens as needed.
Coordination with Specialists: Works with specialists both inside and outside IHS to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Collaboration with Allied Health Professionals: Engages with social workers, health educators, and community health nurses to manage medical, psychological, and social patient needs.
Consultation & Supervision: Provides guidance on complex cases, supervises, and trains medical practitioners, residents, and students.
Electronic Health Records: Ensures proper documentation of medical care using the Tsaile Health Center's electronic health record system.
Medical Records Management: Prepares and maintains clinical records in compliance with JCAHO standards for comprehensive patient care.
Emergency Patient Transport: Arranges transportation for critical patients to higher-level care facilities via ambulance or other means.
