Job Description
The UPS Store 4182 in West Linn, OR is looking for one sales associate to join our team. We are located on Willamette Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
- Receive and process packages for courier shipment,
- Operate copiers, fax machines, and print
- Work independently in an environment with a continuous flow of customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash accurately, efficiently, and following established procedures
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Receive, pack, and process shipments based on established procedures,
- Sort and distribute mail to in-center Mailbox customers accurately and in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
- Use judgment to solve customer problems
- Maintains scheduling commitments
Qualifications
- Fast Learner
- Can Type at least 65 wpm
- High school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance
- Able to lift 40+ pounds
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent verbal skills
- Able to problem solve as issues arise
