Position OverviewWe are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer (Associate Level) to join our collaborative Engineering team. This role will focus on quality assurance for our Salesforce implementation-ensuring every release meets the highest standards of security, accuracy, and reliability . You'll work directly with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build, maintain, and improve our test frameworks and quality metrics.
This is a newly created position driven by growth and innovation within our portfolio management technology stack.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using approved tools and frameworks.
Develop and execute tailored test plans for Salesforce features including Flows, Triggers, Apex Jobs , and more.
Participate in the full QA lifecycle, including manual and automated testing, debugging, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to translate business processes into test strategies.
Clearly and effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
Work within an Agile development environment and contribute to process improvements.
Monitor and enforce quality metrics (e.g., escaped defects, resiliency, repeatability).
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging QA tools or platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of software QA/testing experience , preferably with Salesforce applications .
Proficient in object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, TypeScript, or Java).
Experience using version control and code review systems.
Working knowledge of Apex and Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Triggers, Apex Jobs).
Familiarity with Salesforce query languages (SOQL, SOSL) and APIs (SOAP, REST).
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines , DevOps Center , Lightning Web Components , or Aura .
Prior exposure to Copado Robotic Testing platform.
Background in financial or investment services is a strong plus.
