We are in search of amazing and creative writers who possess a deep passion for culture and language learning and are proficient in at least one Eastern European or Asian language. Here is an opportunity for you to show your exceptional writing skills while writing about topics you love!

Responsibilities

We are a language-learning platform based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, focused on teaching Eastern European and Asian languages, and our blog is one of the main channels that we use to promote our language-learning app, “Ling.”

Blog posts that use a variety of on-page SEO tactics offer more opportunities for us to rank higher in search engines and make our overall blog more appealing. That’s why we believe in writing high-quality, high-value content that is complemented well with our on-page SEO guidelines.

Requirements

Prepare one sample to apply. Please choose one of the following topics and include our specific requirements to show your writing skills! You will be compensated for this sample blog if you are hired.

Note: Please replace the language ( underlined word ) with your  native language or the language you are proficient in .

Topics for the sample:

1. How are you in Japanese/ Korean
2. Korean/ Japanese tongue twisters
3. How to say Good luck in Kannada
4. How to order food in Marathi
5. Tagalog travel phrases

• Write at least 900 - 1000 words.
• Write using American English.
• Use a creative and conversational writing style to make the information engaging.
• Mention our Ling app in the post. Weave it in the narrative organically.
• Make judicious use of headings and subheadings.
• Use 1-3 images from online free resources (Pixabay.com, pexels.com, shutterstock.com) or create your design with Canva (size: 800x450 px ONLY).
• Friendly writing style for language learners.
• Use your skills as a native language speaker to add cultural context and insights of the linguistic background you belong to.
• Make sure you write 100% original content. We use AI detection and plagiarism detection tools to scan the case study.

• The base rate varies according to the candidate's level of experience and the nature of the blog post, with distinctions made between casual and technical or academic topics, which may affect pricing. For your guidance, our base rate typically falls within the range of USD 15 to USD 35 per 1000 words.
