Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Sunny Horizons – Albertville, AL

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Sunny Horizons is a dynamic and compassionate pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to providing high-quality speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to children and families in our community. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply! We offer strong mentorship and support to help you successfully complete your CF experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric clients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Provide education and support to families to enhance carryover of therapy strategies at home.
  • Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligible for state licensure in Alabama.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but CFs are welcome and encouraged to apply!
  • Passion for working with pediatric populations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
