National Guard magazine, the official publication of the National Guard Association of the United States, is looking for a staff writer to help cover National Guard issues and other defense-related matters.
The selected candidate will also write for the weekly NGAUS e-newsletter and assist with other projects in the NGAUS Communications Department.
The position requires familiarity with the military. Some travel will be required. The selected candidate will work most days from the National Guard Memorial, the NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C. Photography and video skills are a plus.
The salary range is $60,000 to $70,000. The benefits package includes medical coverage immediately and a 401(k) with a 7% match after six months.
