Job Description

Job Title: Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Structural Steel Detailer with at least 3 years of experience using Tekla software for structural steel modeling and detailing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings and models for structural steel projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Use Tekla software to create detailed 3D models and shop drawings for structural steel fabrication.
Prepare accurate steel detailing drawings, including connections, bolts, and welds.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with AISC standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Revise and update drawings as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure the accuracy of drawings and proper execution in the field.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience using Tekla Structures for structural steel detailing and modeling.
Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, welding, and bolted connections.
Familiarity with AISC standards and industry best practices.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
