As a Systems Engineer, you will provide essential IT support for HCSC-delivered solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support for ATO Processes: Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) technical support to ensure compliance and security.
- Database and Project Management: Support database management, project planning, and risk management activities.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Contribute to strategic planning for enterprise systems modernization, including integrations and documentation between internal and external systems.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct analyses of documentation, publications, handbooks, new policies, and emerging technologies.
- Systems Integration: Assist in systems integration and implementation, analyzing program security deficiencies, and monitoring application integrations through governance processes.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Provide support in cybersecurity engineering requirements and authorizations (FedRAMP/RMF) for systems and applications.
- IT and Cloud Development: Participate in IT and Cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation efforts. Your role will be pivotal in supporting large-scale cloud solutions within both federal and commercial industries, ensuring adherence to federal policies, processes, and standards.
Education Requirement Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the following (or related fields):
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Cybersecurity
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Information Assurance
- Information Security
- Information Resource Management
Certification Requirement Possession of one or more of the following certifications:
- IAT I - A+, CCNA-Security, Network+, SSCP
- IAM I - CAP, GSLC, Security+
- IASAE I - CASP, CISSP, CSSLP
Experience Requirement - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year specializing in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security.
- Experience with a government agency similar in size and scope to the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is preferred.
Clearance Requirement US Citizenship and Public Trust
Salary Range $50,000-$65,000k annually
