HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects

Assists in solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
Assists in highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
Assists in overseeing highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools, Firewalls, Switches
Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes
May provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience additional years can be considered in lieu of degree

Required Technical Skills:

Software: scripting (bash, tcsh, Java Script, Python)

Operating Systems: Linux (must), Windows

Other Skills: Networking, Firewalls, Switches, Systems Integration, Security (IPSEC), agile experience, GitLab

US Citizenship
Comp TIA Sec+
Must have active secret clearance
