Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for internal systems and technical processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and support to ensure accurate and accessible documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, manuals, SOPs, and user guides.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and translate complex information into clear content.
- Maintain and manage documentation on platforms like Confluence , JIRA , and SharePoint .
- Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational standards, branding, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct content audits and regularly update existing documentation for accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in building knowledge bases for both internal users and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role.
- Strong experience with JIRA , Confluence , and SharePoint (or Share-Point equivalents).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
