Description of the Role: The Title Clerk at Berglund Automotive plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to navigate through various systems and paperwork to complete title transactions. Responsibilities:

• Process and re-assign titles for vehicles sold by the auction.
• Examine vehicle title for accuracy to specified requirements.
• Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed.
• Confirm accurate title VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens, and etc.
• Process all title work as deals become eligible for processing.
• Resolve titling issues through interaction with the dealership team and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which vehicles are processed.
• Run outstanding title reports, review and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles.
• Balance and post day to day balancing activities.
• Maintain and upkeep schedules.
• Perform title and tag audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the office management.

Requirements:

• Team Player.
• Prior experience in title processing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
