Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 8-hour Day Shifts | No On-Call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,400 (Travelers Only)
Position SummaryA leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time, 13-week contract (with potential for extension). The technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a focus on both general and vascular imaging , ensuring quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general and vascular studies
Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate imaging techniques based on patient condition and clinical indication
Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care hospital of similar size
Proficient in General and Vascular Ultrasound techniques
Current ARDMS or ARRT certification required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be eligible to work as a traveler
