Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry! Job Description Our Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the airport's warehouse operations. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, and coordinating shipments and inventory control. You will implement and optimize warehouse management systems, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, this position requires regular inspections of warehouse facilities to maintain a safe and organized environment. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the airport's warehouse and cargo handling services. WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A WAREHOUSE MANAGER · You like working as a team, toward a common goal · Oversee all warehouse operations: Ensure smooth and efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse · Manage warehouse staff: Lead, recruit, train, and evaluate the performance of warehouse personnel · Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures: Create guidelines to optimize warehouse operations and ensure safety compliance · Coordinate logistics and supply chain management: Plan and manage the flow of goods, from receiving to storage to distribution · Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control: Oversee inventory management to maintain accurate stock records and avoid shortages or excess · Ensure compliance with aviation and safety regulations: Adhere to all relevant laws and safety standards in warehouse operations · You have a great attention to detail · You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks · Strong customer service skills · Like to build long term relationships with your customers · Physical activity may include: · Stand and walk for extended periods of time · Ability to lift 70 pounds or more · Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment · Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Qualifications · Minimum age of 18 years old · Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents · Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles · Strong leadership and team management skills · Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control · Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and regulatory compliance · Effective communication and interpersonal abilities · Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays · Good driving history · Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets · Ability to pass a drug screen · Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) · Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
