Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a secure and scalable WordPress website.
- Create custom themes and plugins tailored to business needs.
- Build and manage various content types, including listings, blogs, and events.
- Integrate analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and third-party services for enhanced site functionality.
- Ensure website meets SEO best practices and ADA (accessibility) compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as QA, UI/UX, and DevOps for seamless project delivery.
- Utilize understanding of tourism/government website structures to guide development.
- Maintain CMS flexibility and scalability for future content and feature expansion.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proven experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
- Experience with SEO optimization and ADA compliance.
- Experience integrating third-party services and APIs.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
